While I am a handyman who will turn up on a bike, you need not worry that I will try to fix everything with a pocket multi-tool!

If I know no better, I'll bring my standard tool backpack which generally covers the basics.

Every tool in here has been carefully chosen for its utility, but they all have to earn their weight, so it's constantly evolving.

I have additional toolkits for plumbing and electrical work, which fit in a bike pannier.

I'll bring larger tools, such as gardening tools, in my trailer.

It pays to be organised when you are bringing tools by muscle power.

What tools I bring will depend on what I'm doing, but I try hard to cover the likely so I'm not immediately stymied upon the first change of plan. Wolf Garten multi-change gardening tools are a godsend for this as they allow me to bring more tools than handles.
